Dog Den – Cage Free

A fun cozy living space created just for smaller dogs up to 30 lbs. LA DOGWORKS Dog Den provides a cage free boarding option for our guests. A communal space that features clean, modern furniture specifically designed and constructed for use with dogs. Our bunk beds are adorable and fun to look at but they serve even greater purpose. Dogs see the lower bunk as a “den” or a “safe haven” and curl up together for a cozy night’s sleep, while other dogs love the top bunk were they roost together falling asleep as they look over the indoor dog park. Top or bottom it is a wonderful room and rest assured that our Dog Den will be your dog’s home away from home. For your dog’s entertainment, the Dog Den features a large flat panel TV that will broadcast shows like Animal Planet and  movies featuring dogs.

Traditional Kennel

Featuring The Double D kennel system made by the Mason Company, LA DOGWORKS will comfortably provide dogs with a simple and clean boarding option. The kennels are bright, safe and comfortable with runs 9′X4′ or 7′X4′ that are full height to provide dogs of all sizes with easy walk-in access. Our two-story kennels are made of state-of-the art materials and have high-tech draining systems built into each level that channel waste water into the trench drain built under the facility.

Because all of our boarding guests spent the day playing in our 2,500 square foot indoor dog park, by the end of the day they are well exercised and ready to sleep. The Mason Kennel system provides all they need to assure a restful night.

Please feel free to bring your dog’s own bed from home and any other items that you feel he or she would like to have during their stay. Beds are available for rent at our front desk. Please ask one of our Customer Care Team Members about this service.

We highly recommend that you bring enough of your dog’s regular food for the duration of their stay as some dogs will have adverse reactions to sudden change in diet.

It is important to understand that the use of proper building materials in a boarding environment is paramount. Even the best house trained dogs will yield to their natural instincts and “mark” their territory. Therefore using improper materials like store bought human furniture, particularly furniture made from fiberboard, will become problematic by absorbing urine and creating an unhealthy environment.

Choices of flooring and wall covering materials are also key to the success of a dog care facility and the well-being of your dog. An educated dog owner is our best customer and by providing this information we hope to help you with your choices for your dog care needs.
